Creative Rabbit Fashion

In the fashion illustration lesson I had learned about figure proportions, average male around 7.5 and female 7 heads but normally in the fashion drawing the figure proportion is 9 heads, because normally model will be taller and the figure drawing looks like Barbie. than I had draw nine head marking and start practising to draw figure by free hand, and the next practice I had roughly copying and draw the outline of the figure by looking at difference poses model picture, then I layering paper on top and start fineing the drawing and make the proportion looks more accurate and complete by using light box, then lastly I had tried to draw some clothing design on top of the figure I have been draw.   In the studio time I had look at Pinterest and recent 2023 trend collection element from the internet, to get some inspiration to help developed and draw more fashion idea sketches.

I had learned about how to structure a poster or advertisement, for example you can leave some white space between lines and margins to allowed the audience to rest there eyes, also if you want to grab the attention of the audience you can used contrasting colour and alignment the image and words parallel, lastly if you want to delivering a stronger meaning or message, you can used different colour or font. In my poster I had choose the theme excess the definition is overload, too much and rich, so that I had use a really colourful candy background, then I placed the golden man in the middle surrounding by luxury watches and cars also I have placed a hand, full of bracelet to show the feeling of excess and rich, lastly I had choose the word hope for the title by using white colour words because I didn’t want the title blend into the background, also I had change the P to capital letter so that when people read HoPe will give a stronger message.   Today I began to develop my ideas by looking at my initial drawings and considering what fabrics might be suitable for my designs. I selected a range of creams/ beiges to match my 'cargo / outdoors' style. I was also considering the texture of the fabric and how this might work on my clothing or for the whole collection.  I also looked at a range of black fabrics that could work for some detail sections or accessories such as the bags. I focused on the leather fabrics for their stiffness and how durable they would be. I felt these matched my theme for my collection.  An important part of this fabric collecting process was that all these fabrics were from a second-hand fabric source, which means I would be giving them another life by using them in my collection, therefore making the fabrics sustainable.  As I continue to draw my designs I will keep referring to my fabric mood board to see which fabrics would work best for my clothes.

Her concept is based on a woman, who has a brave attitude and an interest in traveling, dreaming and exploring, the collection is also inspired by the changes of the environment to help to develop her imagination....

In the research myself exercise, we have try think of our own history and experience, for example childhood, teenage years, personality and what is your bigger decision that you make in your life, that change your path and make you become you, and also who inspired you in your life, and why are you choosing this subject. I am borne in Hong Kong it is a big and crowd city, in my first memory in my childhood, I had playing with my favourite rabbit doll called Mary, when I am little I always thought Mary is my sister, so that every time I play and travel I will bring Mary together with me.
